About Us:

Long Made Co. is a lighting studio based in Houston, Texas. Every light fixture is designed and meticulously handmade to order by us in our Texas shop. What started as a way to outfit our home with a light turned into a love and eventually led to the creation of Long Made back in 2015. As our unique collection grows, we draw on inspiration from mid-century, industrial, modern and minimalist design, combined with a passion to make timeless quality products.

Long Made's obsession with quality and customer service have paid off. These days our small company is shipping all over the world, supplying fixtures for homes, boutique hotels, restaurants and more.

Lead Time:

Our current lead time is 3-6 weeks. If you need your order by a certain date or have questions about a new or existing order, shoot us a text or email.

Every fixture is carefully made-to-order just for you! Because we are a small company, our lead times can vary depending on our current production backlog.

We offer rush shipping if needed, so please let us know if your project is on a tight deadline and we will let you know if rush shipping is necessary based on the current backlog. Regardless, we always do our best to accommodate. We get it!

Trade & Bulk Pricing:

Trade: Back when we originally set our prices, we decided to put our best price upfront for all and bypass the wholesale/retail model. Because of this, our final pricing can be found on our website. The best way to get a quote is to simply enter all the items you need into your shopping cart and it will calculate a total, including shipping based on your location and the final weight of the package. Shipping discounts are automatically given when ordering more than one item at a time. Whenever you are ready, you'll be able to submit your order there. We sell direct and only off this website.

Returns & Exchanges:

We accept returns and exchanges so you can order with peace of mind. However, since all lights are made to order just for you, orders of five or more items or custom fixtures are non-returnable. Previously installed fixtures are also non-returnable. A 15% restock fee is applied to all returns and shipping fees are non-refundable. Qualifying return or exchange requests must be submitted within 15 days of receiving the product. Items must be sent back within 30 days of delivery.

If a cancellation is needed please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.

In the rare event your product arrives damaged, we will fix the issue at no cost to you. However, please keep original packaging and contact us within 24 hours. We may need photos of the boxes and product to file a claim with Fedex, USPS or UPS.

Light Bulb Selection:

We don't supply bulbs simply because there are so many options. We are happy to help you find the right bulb, feel free to reach out! We have also created this helpful blog post to explain it all.

UL Listed Light Fixtures:

Long Made Co. light fixtures are now UL listed for US & Canada as noted on the product landing pages. You will find the UL logo on all light fixture product pages that come standard with UL certification. These light fixtures are UL tested and include UL inspection stickers.

What is UL? "UL listed" lighting signifies that a product has undergone rigorous testing required by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and meets their safety standards. Long Made Co is a UL certified studio.

All designs can be customized.

We offer various socket options including our standard E26 sockets, GU24, GU10, and European E27 sockets.

We offer a variety of finishes, including brushed live brass, many variations of oxidized brass and steel, a wide range of powder coated colors, polished and brushed nickle, raw/sealed/rusty steel, copper and aluminum, as well as various glass globe finishes.

Custom lengths and sizing as well as mounting/back plate options are also available.

International Orders:

Compatibility: Our hardwired fixtures are rated for up to 240 volts unless noted otherwise. Plug-in fixtures come with North American shaped wall plugs that are rated for up to 120 volts. All fixtures come with E26 or GU10 sockets and wiring rated for up to 240 volts unless customized. We recommend discussing with your local electrician about what modifications may be needed in order to convert our North American fixtures for use in your country. If you are ordering a plug-in fixture you will need to have the wall plug swapped out by a qualified electrician locally and possibly have other modifications made.

Shipping: If you are within Canada, you will not have to pay Duty thanks to the North American Trade Agreement, however you will still need to pay import taxes and other fees via UPS at the time of delivery or before. We will include all the important paperwork on the package and ship via UPS. If you are outside of Canada & USA, our system will automatically collect and itemize at checkout the duties and taxes. Those will be prepaid by you for a smooth delivery and we ship via express DHL or UPS.

Be informed about your country's import fees/taxes if applicable and prepare to pay them upfront at checkout if they are itemized.

We ship international orders tracked and insured via UPS or DHL. Tracking numbers are provided at the time of shipment.
