DESCRIPTION

Designed and handmade to order in our Texas studio. Features heavy gauge solid brass construction. Shade head adjust to true vertical and horizontal positions and turns 330 degrees on axis. This directional ceiling downlight is perfect for both flat and vaulted ceilings. It provides ideal lighting for tasks or general illumination, making it a great choice for home or business.

This fixture is part of the Brass Cylinder series, which blends mid-century modern design with exceptional versatility.

CERTIFICATION

UL Certified US & Canada. Dry and damp locations. Not wet rated.

Black and white label shows UL Certified, Damp, and Handmade in USA for the Long Made Co. Cove Adjustable Spot, confirming it's UL certified for damp locations and handmade in the US—ideal for minimalist downlight designs.

FINISH OPTIONS

Available in natural brass (3rd image), light oxidized brass (primary image), warm oxidized brass (2nd image), and black oxidized brass. Finish samples available for purchase here. Made with live, unlacquered brass that is waxed for an even finish that will patina with time.

DROP ROD OPTIONS

Drop Rod Lengths: 4” (shown), 12”, 18”, and 24”. Custom sizes available.

VAULTED CEILING OPTION

Hang Straight (2nd to last image): Additional swivel at backplate end for use on vaulted ceilings. This option allows for the drop rod to hang vertically on a slanted ceiling. Adds 1 7/8” to tip-to-tip length.

BACKPLATE OPTIONS

Standard 5" Backplate (primary image): 5" diameter, 1/4” depth. Includes universal hardwire bracket. 

Brass Slab Backplate (Shown in second to last photo with hang straight option): 4 5/8“ diameter, 1/8” depth for a more flush look. Use 4" junction box and inset it at least 1/8” from sheetrock/ceiling material. Includes universal hardwire bracket.

DIMMING

All of our fixtures are fully dimmable. We recommend a quality dimmable LED bulb (Soraa, Emery Allen) and wall dimmer. Consider Forbes & Lomax wall dimmers, which are available in similar finishes.
